OUR STORY
The story of a woman who has spent her career running Marketing & Communications for large and small companies, and finally takes the leap to start her own business during a pandemic. All born from a lnewfound ove of country music.
Hi. Or should I say hey y'all! My name is Terri. I'm the founder of this little business.
My love for country music came a little later in life. Although I had the influence of country music around me most of my teen years, with the exception of a few legends like Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline, I never really took to it. I have been deeply influenced by music my whole life, but I started noticing the music I used to connect to was not having the same positive impact on me.
In 2018-2019, I found myself going through a lot of changes. Personal growth became a mission. I was working on my spiritual, physical, and mental well-being and suddenly found myself flipping the music to new country and connecting to the music, and especially the lyrics.
Now, it's what I listen to almost all of the time. It moves me, uplifts me when I'm in a funk, and connects me to what I consider real American values. And for whatever reason, it also goes along with my other passion....the mountains.
The song that stands out as one of the first that made me take a good listen is Sam Hunt's Take Your Time. I remember I was working out and that came on. I was intrigued by the use of the story telling and the styling.
It is the connection to the great lyrics of so many of my favorite artists that gave me the idea to print them on a favorite tee or sweatshirt. That feeling you get when you put on that soft fabric and express yourself in words and see how other people connect to them.
